Your Kent Wedding Make Up Trial:
Ideally, at least one month before your big day a Vicky will meet with you at her Kent salon in Dover, to discuss your needs and concerns. She will help you find the right look for your bridal make-up. The trial can last as long as necessary, but we would normally need about an hour and a half plus 30mins per extra person. The trial is essential for both you and Vicky to ensure your make-up application runs smoothly on the day.
To assist Vicky with your rehearsal it would be great if you could have details of your hair and wedding dress as well as any personal make-up likes and dislikes.
A few photographs/pictures of make-up that you like are a great help in communicating the look you are aiming for.
Bridal make-up on your wedding day:
Vicky will arrive in ample time to make sure your wedding make-up is a relaxing experience. If you are having hair and make-up at the same time, she is happy to work alongside your hairdresser.
She would normally make-up the bridal party before the bride unless you would prefer otherwise
Your bridal make-up application should be a calming, relaxing experience to prepare you for the big day, so it would be helpful to us both if you have a bit of privacy during the make-up session and pre warn everyone that for an hour or so you won't be able to help with other preparations. This also means we stay within the time allocation for your bridal make-up.
A deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking with the balance being due at the time of the rehearsal. Taking care of payment in advance makes our visit on your big day more relaxed.

Tips for your wedding make-up
Time is of the essence on your wedding day, so it would be a great help to us both if you remove all make-up you are wearing before we arrive.
Vicky will provide you with a make-up product list at your trial so you can buy the lipstick that you may need to top up during the day or evening.
We would always advise brides to have a facial about a week prior to their wedding day, as will help to tone and hydrate your skin. This can be arranges with Vicky. Another option would be to consider a treatment of Micro-dermabrasion, this would really improve the overall feel and look of your skin as well as reducing any fine lines or scaring.
If you are intending to have a tanning sessions or spray tan before your wedding day then please let us know as this can affect the colour of the make-up we have chosen for you. It is really helpful if you are the same colour at the trial as you will be on the day.
Vicky is always available for you to discuss you wedding make-up needs and concerns, and she is very happy to discuss and arrange with you a skin care regime. having a regime will will help to improve your overall skin tone and texture and give you a glowing complexion.
