What
are acrylic nail extensions?
The
natural nail is extended from it’s original length with
the use of a plastic tip. The tip can be either french (a white
end giving the look of a permanent french paint) or natural, the
nails are then covered with layer of acrylic, to give the nail
strength. They are then buffed and polished to provide a complete
natural looking nails.

How
long do they last?
The
extensions need to be maintained every two weeks. During a maintenance
the gap caused by the nail growth is filled, the nails are reshaped
and any lost tips are replaced, giving you a set of nail that
look as good as the day you had them done.

to 14 days ( inc 6 tips) £17
Up to 21 days ( inc 3 tips) £19
Up to 28 days ( inc 0 tips) £21
How
do I look after them?
Nail
extensions are not difficult to look after. They are strong and
resistant to every day wear and tear. However there are a few
guidelines to be aware of: Do not use them as tools, do not pick
at them, if the tip needs replacing, soak off with acetone rather
than pulling off. Keep regular maintenance appointments. Only
use non acetone nail polish remover.
What
are Overlays?
An overlay is a layer of acrylic applied over your
natural nail, without the use of a tip as an extension. They are
used to give your natural nail added strength allowing them to
grow naturally without being broken. Overlays are looked after
in the same way as extensions.

What
are weekenders?
Weekenders
are temporary extensions. They are the use of a plastic tip as
an extension without the permanency of the acrylic. They are natural
looking extensions which can be painted with a colour, french
or art. They last approximately a weekend and are ideal for those
not allowed nail extensions for work or school, or who just want
a set of extensions for a special occasion.
